Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what data Amourly collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to the Amourly mobile app, website, and support services.

Data Collected

Depending on the features you use, we may collect the following:

• Account and profile data (for example: email address, display name, language, profile photo)
• User content you create in the app (for example: memories, notes, photos, videos, drawings, and related metadata)
• Location data when you choose to add a place to a memory or use location-based features
• Purchase and subscription status data (for example: active plan, product identifier, renewal status) from App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat
• Technical and usage data (for example: app events, device/app identifiers, crash or performance context, and interaction analytics)
• Attribution and campaign measurement data (for example: app install source, advertising identifiers where permitted, conversion events)
• Push notification token and notification preference settings
• Website analytics data (for example: page views and events via Google Analytics) and tool anti-abuse identifiers (visitor ID, IP-derived rate limiting)

How We Collect Data

We collect data in three ways:

• Directly from you (for example, when you sign up, edit your profile, create content, or contact support)
• Automatically from your device and app usage (for analytics, reliability, and security)
• From trusted third parties involved in app operations (for example, app stores for purchase state, RevenueCat for subscription management)

Use of Data

We use collected data to:

• Provide core app features and account access
• Sync your couple experience across devices
• Personalize in-app content and reminders
• Process subscriptions and restore entitlements
• Send service and feature notifications
• Measure product usage, improve reliability, and prevent abuse
• Provide support and respond to legal/safety requirements

Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising Measurement

We use analytics and measurement tools including Mixpanel, Tenjin (attribution), TikTok Events/SDK integrations, Sentry (crash/error monitoring), and Google Analytics (website). On iOS, tracking for cross-company advertising measurement is requested through App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and only used when permission is granted.

AI Features and Tools

Some website tools use Google Gemini to generate text (for example, date ideas or love notes). Prompts you submit are sent securely to our server and then to the AI provider to return a response. We apply rate limiting and security controls to these endpoints.

Sharing and Processors

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers that help operate Amourly, such as:

• Cloud hosting and storage providers (for example, Google Cloud)
• Subscription and purchase infrastructure providers (for example, RevenueCat and app store billing systems)
• Analytics and attribution partners (for example, Mixpanel, Tenjin, TikTok, Sentry, and Google Analytics for website analytics)
• AI generation providers for website tools (for example, Google Gemini)
• Email/support infrastructure providers
• Legal or regulatory recipients when required by law

Storage, Security, and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data. We keep data only as long as needed for service operation, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion
• Object to processing of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Manage permissions (camera, photos, microphone, location, notifications, tracking) in your device settings
• Delete your account directly in the app via Settings > Delete Account

Children

Amourly is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when published in the app or on our website.
